Terms of Service — PLC Media App

Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PLC Media App ("the App"), the official mobile app of Purposeful Living Church, provided by Purposeful Living Church ("the Church", "we", "us"). By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Description of the Service

The PLC Media App gives you access to the Purpose FM live radio broadcast, sermons, the Bible in multiple translations (King James Version, New International Version, and Luganda), daily devotionals, prayer and testimony submission, community features such as comments and follows, event announcements, and Live TV. Features may be added, changed or removed at any time as the App evolves.

Eligibility & Accounts

Some features, such as commenting, following and saving content, require signing in with your Google account. You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that happens under it. The App is intended for a general audience; if you are under the age of digital consent in your country, please use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

User Content & Conduct

When you submit prayer requests, testimonies, comments, likes or follows, you agree that your content is truthful, appropriate, and does not infringe on anyone else's rights. You agree not to use the App to:

Post hateful, harassing, defamatory, or sexually explicit content.
Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
Upload spam, malware, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the App.
Use another user's content or personal information without their consent.

We reserve the right to remove any content, and to suspend or terminate access, that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or community standards.

Live Radio & Media Content

The App's live Purpose FM radio broadcast, sermons and video content are provided for your personal, non-commercial listening and viewing. You may not record, redistribute, rebroadcast or resell this content without our written permission. Streaming quality and availability depend on your own internet connection, and we cannot guarantee uninterrupted playback.

Giving & Donations

The Give section of the App displays bank and mobile money details so you can send a gift directly through your own banking or mobile money provider. The App does not process, hold, or have any involvement in the transaction itself — it is solely between you and your financial institution. We are not responsible for errors, delays, or issues arising from transfers made outside the App. Nothing in the App constitutes financial, tax, or legal advice regarding your giving.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, branding, logo, and original content, is owned by Purposeful Living Church and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Scripture text is provided under the terms of its respective translation licenses. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from the App without our prior written consent.

Third-Party Links & Services

The App may link to or embed third-party services, such as YouTube for Live TV or Google for sign-in. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of them is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. We do not guarantee that the App will always be secure, error-free, or continuously available.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Purposeful Living Church shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, including but not limited to loss of data, missed broadcasts, or issues arising from third-party financial transfers made in connection with the Give feature.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
